Aurora Seniors meet weekdays in the Walker Building.

Among activities are: Gentle yoga Fridays at 10 a.m., Arthritis Foundation exercise Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:30 p.m., bingo Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., chair volleyball Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 1:45 p.m.

Also, there are watercolor painting Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m., knitting Thursdays at 1 p.m. and penny poker, canasta and euchre Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m.; walking videos Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m., beginning Tai Chi on Thursdays at 9 a.m. and mahjong lessons Wednesdays at 1 p.m.

Some other activities are blood pressure and glucose screening clinics the first Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m.

Tech Tuesdays are offered from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Walker Building, when students from Harmon School and AHS will help seniors perform various tasks with laptops, digital cameras, e-readers, tablets and phones.

A Halloween luncheon will be today (Oct. 19) at 1:30 p.m. and men can hear a presentation about advanced directives with Gerri McGonagle of Great Lakes Caring on Oct. 31 at 2 p.m.

Massage with Susan Lund will be Oct. 24, Nov. 14 and 28 and Dec. 5 and 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Manicures and pedicures will be Nov. 23 and Dec. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Retired Old Men Eating Out will visit Henry Wahner's in Kent on Nov. 17 and Guido's in Ravenna on Dec. 15.

A painting party will be Dec. 6 from 2:30 to 5 p.m., the annual Christmas party is Dec. 14 from noon to 2 p.m. and the quarterly birthday potluck is Dec. 19 at noon.

Trips coming up are: Oct. 21 -- Severance Hall for Brahm's Fourth.; Oct. 24 -- Holden Arboretum; Oct. 25 -- B.A. Sweeties candy store, Malley's Chocolates and lunch at 100th Bomb Group; Nov. 3 -- "Finding Neverland" at Palace Theater; Nov. 7 -- lunch bunch to PF Chang's.

Nov. 9 -- Horseshoe Casino; Nov. 11 -- Packard Music Hall for Home Free concert; Nov. 16 -- J.E. Reeves Mansion in Dover and shopping in Sugarcreek; Nov. 18 -- Cleveland Christmas Connection; Nov. 21 -- John S. Knight Center in Akron; Nov. 30 -- overnight at Oglebay Park in Wheeling for the Festival of Lights.

The parks-rec department is in the Walker Building on West Pioneer Trail. Hours are weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
