The Twinsburg girls basketball team, which defeated Aurora in the Division I sectional tournament at Akron Ellet recently, failed to win its third straight state title after a 52-48 loss to Kettering Fairmont on Saturday in Columbus.
The loss snapped the Tigers' win streak at 43 games, and was the first time they have lost to an Ohio team in 73 games. Twinsburg ended the season with a 29-1 record.
