RECREATION ACTIVITIES
Various programs -- Many recreational and community education programs are offered by the city's parks-recreation department. Among them are learn to roller skate, inline roller skating, driver education, youth and adult sports, dancing and fitness, stop smoking seminars, youth camps, dog obedience, gardening and home improvement.
SENIOR ACTIVITIES
Aurora Seniors meet weekdays in the Walker Building on West Pioneer Trail.
Programs include bingo, chair exercise, computer classes, wellness checks, knitting, tai chi for arthritics, health screenings, card games, chair volleyball, breakfast and lunch outings, speakers and theme parties.
Gentle yoga is offered Fridays at 10 a.m., chair volleyball Thursdays at 11:30 a.m., Zumba Gold on the second and fourth Fridays at 1:30 p.m. and arthritis foundation exercise Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:30 p.m.
Blood pressure clinics are the second Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m., bingo is Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., the senior knitting group meets Thursdays at 1 p.m. and penny poker is Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Walking videos are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m. and watercolor painting is Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m.
Tech Tuesdays are every Tuesday when school is in session at 3 p.m. in Harmon School's media center.
A St. Patrick's Day luncheon will be today (March 13) at noon, a birthday potluck luncheon will be March 18 at noon and the Retired Old Men Eating Out group will go to the Dolphin in Northfield on March 21 and Zeppe's in Hudson on April 18.
Massage with Susan Lund will be March 16 and April 13 and 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch and learn programs will be April 1 at noon in the Walker Building and April 18 at noon at Grande Village. Breakfast before bingo will be April 29 at Anna Maria.
Trips coming up are: March 14 -- Rivers Casino; March 18 -- dinner group at Lana's in Sagamore Hills; March 18 -- dinner group to Lana's in Sagamore Hills; March 20 -- Horseshoe Casino; March 27 -- Trinity Cathedral brown bag concert; April 3 -- Hanna Theater to see "Much Ado About Nothing."
April 4 -- Allen Theater for "Good People"; April 6 -- Celtic Women at Palace Theater; April 8 -- lunch bunch to Pufferbelly in Kent; April 10 -- Horseshoe Casino; April 11 -- War Horse at Palace Theater; April 15 -- Tour and lunch at Ahuja Medical Center; April 16 -- Packard Music Hall in Warren to see "Six"; April 18 -- Weathervane Playhouse to see "Charlie's Aunt."
The parks-rec department is in the Walker Building on West Pioneer Trail. Hours are Mondays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
