The Aurora Greenmen varsity girls basketball team suffered its third straight loss Saturday night and now stands 3-3 in the Chagrin Valley Conference Chagrin Division and 8-3 overall.
West Geauga beat the locals 47-43. Allison Howard had 11 points for Aurora, while Camille Brown added 9.
In other weekend AHS sports action, the varsity boys team (1-10 overall) lost to West Geauga, 53-36, with Kendall Fayne and Pavel Galchenko each scoring 9 points, and to Nordonia 74-31 with Ben Branscom tallying 11 points.
The varsity wrestling squad beat University School and lost to Lake Catholic in a quad match at Willoughby High School.
