PET ADOPTION EVENT

Pawsibilities, the Humane Society of Greater Akron, will conduct a special "Home for the Holidays" adoption event at the shelter, 7996 Darrow Road in Twinsburg.

It will be Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The adoption fee for cats is $5 and dogs are $55 (animals older than six months, upon application approval).

All animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped and include a 30-day free trial of pet insurance through 24PetWatch.

"We have so many amazing dogs and cats up for adoption right now," said Kristin Branagan, director of behavior and adoption services.

"With the holiday season quickly approaching we are hoping this adopt-a-thon we will be a huge success ."

The goal for the one-day event is to find as many "fur-ever" homes as possible for some loving animals. Visit www.summithumane.org/adopt to see all of the adoptable animals.
