The families of Kayla Coleman and Patrick Toothaker have announced their engagement.
Coleman, of Bay Village, is a 2010 graduate of Kent State University with a degree in art education.
Toothaker, of Aurora, is a 2011 graduate of Kent State University with a degree in physics and a double minor in chemistry and industrial technology. He also has a masters in engineering from Duke University in North Carolina.
The couple plans to be wed in September 2013 in Durham, N.C.
