The Rubber City Jazz & Blues Festival will host a four-day festival from Aug. 24-27 in downtown Akron. This is the second year the festival has taken place. The festival is a free, family-friendly event that includes many well-known local and national artists sharing their talent.

Aurora Community Theatre's spring musical "Brigadoon" continues for three more weekends. Among those in the show, pictured rehearsing prior to last weekend's debut, are: left -- Shannon Eller as a townsfolk; right -- Emily Zart as Fiona and Ron Davis as Tommy Albright.
Reggae Fest Cleveland, sponsored by Taste CLE, is not technically part of the Rock The Park season in Twinsburg, but Taste CLE is working "in conjunction with the city," said Derek Schroeder, director of parks and recreation.
