I thank the Portage County Recycling Center for going to a single container collection system. This will help us and many other residents.
However, I am not thankful for Portage County recycling officials assuming that I do not like writing a check for $30 once a year and acting as Big Brother and including the fee in my tax bill. What happens if I do not want to recycle?
They tell us this will save on administrative costs, including postage. Will we ever see a reduction in the cost?
Please, Big Brother, do not help me again. Lastly, where were our City Fathers when this was occurring?

"What happens if I do not want to recycle?"
Bob, Maybe you didn't realize that all residential households in Aurora are required to recycle. Look it up in the City Ordinances. If you don't want to recycle then go ahead and face the penalty, it won't exceed $500.
