A memorial Mass was celebrated Dec. 5 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Garrettsville for Daniel Lane Vincent, 34, of Aurora, who died Nov. 29, 2013. He was buried in Park Cemetery in Garrettsville.
He grew up in Garrettsville and graduated from James A. Garfield High School in 1997, then worked at Hiram College, Mobility Works of Akron and AECOM of Libya. He recently owned and managed Guys Pizza in Cuyahoga Falls.
He performed in plays, played baseball and basketball and was an avid runner, and enjoyed going to Cleveland sports events.
He married Victoria Riley on Aug. 28, 2010, and they raised daughter Madison and were looking forward to the birth of a baby girl in March, 2014.
Other survivors include his parents David and Cindy of Garrettsville; grandmother  Velma J. Read; sister Beth (Gabe) Martineau of Columbus; brothers Paul (Kateri) of Bay Village and Adam (Cara) of Stow; in-laws Steven and Threasa Riley of Nelson Township, Robert (Connie) Riley of Oklahoma, Marsha (Jacob) Rinard of Texas), Michelle Zimmerman of Idaho, Malinda (Kristopher) Boyd of Aurora; 15 fifteen nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Daniel L. Vincent Memorial Fund at any Huntington Bank or online atwww.RememberingDLV.com. Arrangements were handled by Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home in Garrrettsville.
