A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Aug. 10 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Aurora for Donald Frank Muntz, 83, of Aurora, who died Aug. 4, 2013 at his home.
He was born March 29, 1930, in Cleveland to the late John W. and Myrtle (Bassett) Muntz.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. He retired in 1992 from the Twinsburg Chrysler plant as a punch press operator, and then enjoyed spending his winters in Davenport, Fla. with his wife Sally. On Oct. 3 of this year, the couple would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
In addition to his wife, survivors include sons Ken Muntz of Garfield Heights and John Muntz of Bedford Heights; granddaughter Dianne (Rollin) Cooke; great-granddaughter Aubrey Cooke; brother John “Jack” Muntz Jr.; and his sister Carol Tegreeny.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Don Muntz Jr. and sisters Virginia, Merle, Sally, Edna and Marylin.
