JAMES W. KIRCHNER

Services were Feb. 5 at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home in Twinsburg for James W. Kirchner, 92, of Aurora, who died Feb. 1, 2013 at Aurora Manor.

Born Oct. 17, 1920 in Cleveland, he graduated from Shaker Heights High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Ohio State University and a master's in management. He lived in Aurora since 1956.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theater during World War II, and was preceded in death by his first wife Christene (Landfear) and his bother William.

Survivors include his wife Mary Jane (Mullen); daughters Kathleen (Kenneth) Duda of Land O'Lakes, Fla. and Susan (James) Buonpane of Aurora; grandchildren Christene, Katherine and Joseph Buonpane; and stepchildren Lisa Ann Freebairn and Robert V. Freebairn Jr.

The Rev. Kevin Horak officiated. Contributions can be made the Church in Aurora, 146 S. Chillicothe Road, Aurora 44202.
