A memorial service will take place Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. at First Congregational Church in Hudson (47 Aurora St.) for Robert D. Goddard, 77, formerly of Aurora, who died Dec. 5, 2012.

Born April 25, 1935, in Youngstown, he is survived by his children Diana (George) Finkes, David (Jackie) Goddard and Robert (Georgene) Goddard; grandchildren Drew, Brandon and Clayton Finkes; and friend of many years Sandy Jenkins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Malcolm and Margaret, sister Phyllis, bothers Bill and George and wife Nancy Sue (Jamison).

Memorials can be made to Veterans Outreach, 524 Youngstown-Poland Road, Struthers 44471.
