Aurora sailor is compiling a list of interested local sailors for weekend races on Sunny Lake. Sunfish, Laser, or any centerboard boat would be able to participate.

The Aurora Parks and Recreation Department has been contacted and is open to the idea. I am reaching out to determine if there is enough interest to make a presentation and gain their formal approval.

In Silver Lake, next to Cuyahoga Falls, they race every Sunday afternoon and even hold evening cruises and cookouts. Sunny Lake has everything we'd need - boat ramp, dock, pavillion, grills and water - we just need boats and sailors!
