Aurora High School senior Adam Bellamy has made a verbal commitment to attend Ohio State University and play football for the Buckeyes. He also plays baseball and ice hockey for the Greenmen.
On June 8, Bellamy went to the OSU campus to show his skills to the coaching staff, then received a scholarship offer from coach Jim Tressel the next day and decided to commit June 10. He is verbal commitment No. 17 for OSU's freshman class of 2009.
He also had received offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana and Cincinnati. The 6-foot-4, has played on the offensive and defensive lines during his high school career, and is expected to be a run-stopping defensive tackle for the Buckeyes.
