AHS graduates invited
on summer '09 cruise
Aurora High School's class of 1969 reunion committee plans to have a multi-year reunion during summer 2009.
The class invites anyone from the classes of 1966 to 1972 to go on a cruise of Lake Erie on the Goodtime III. A fee would be charged for bus transportation from Aurora to Cleveland.
According to the committee, once ballpark figures on the number of people interested are available, a date and reservations aboard the Goodtime III will be finalized.
The cruise will include food, music and drinks. Anyone from the above noted classes who is interested should e-mail Sharon Crowder Gimperling at gimp711@aol.com.
Ohio U. offers program
Ohio University is offering a multicultural one-week program for ninth-, 10th- and 11th-grade students. Participants will spend time with Japanese students, participate in field trips and learn basic Japanese. The Aurora High School guidance office has details for those interested.
Club officers elected
The following have been elected officers of the Spanish Club at Aurora High School for 2008-09: Cryssa Kovach, president; Jenny Radis, vice president; Matt Deptola, secretary; and Mitch Romito, treasurer.

Physicals to be given
Sports physicals for students at Harmon and the high school will be offered through Aurora Primary from May 20 and 22 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Cost is $15 (cash only). Students must schedule an appointment at 330-562-3169. Information and physical forms are in the school offices.
Pupils asked to begin
cleaning out lockers
As the school year winds down, Aurora High School students are reminded that all lockers must be completely cleared of all items by the last day school.
Students can begin removing unnecessary items so they do not have to take everything home on one day.
Books should be turned in to appropriate teachers so students are not charged for them.
Additional trash containers will be placed in the hallways at the end of each day so students can throw away garbage and unnecessary items.
