Aurora -- The police department's juvenile officer is assessing what action will be taken after reports of vandalism on Parker Road.
On May 3, a resident reported someone spray-painted profanities on a large boulder on her property.
Officers combed the area and found mailboxes, a real estate sign and the back of a brick structure also were spray-painted.
The parents of several juveniles agreed to allow officers to speak to the boys, who police said admitted to spray-painting the items.
The boys ranged from ages 12 to 15, police said.
Theft and harassment
May 3 -- Money taken. A Sycamore Drive man reported someone entered his unlocked car and removed $14 from its center console.
May 5 -- Harassment. A resident in the 300 block of North Aurora Road reported she has been receiving harassing phone and text messages from a former neighbor. Police advised the suspect not to have further contact with the victim.
May 7 -- Threats made. A woman reported a person was texting her and making threats. Investigation revealed a dispute over money owed for a contracting job. The woman wanted the incidents documented.
May 7 -- Forgery. Police checked out a report of counterfeit or forged Travelers Cheques at Aurora Farms Premium Outlets. Two California women were charged with felony forgery, and were taken to the Portage County Jail.
According to Lt. Rob Hag-quist, a store employee discovered they were fake and called police, who went to the Outlets and arrested the women in another area.
Hagquist said police are investigating other cases the women may be involved in. One has a warrant for her arrest in California.

Traffic-related cases
April 30 -- Suspended license. During a registration check of a vehicle at noon in the 1200 block of North Aurora Road, officers found an Aurora woman was driving on a suspended license. She was cited.
May 1 -- Truck hits pole. Someone reported a semi-truck struck a phone pole at 9 p.m. in the under-100 block of North Aurora Road. The truck's owners were located and insurance information was obtained. No estimate for repair or replacement of the pole was given.
May 3 -- Parked car hit. An Aurora woman was cited for improper starting and backing on Mill Pond Road after police said she backed out of a driveway and struck a parked car at 4 p.m. The latter driver was issued a citation for parking on the fire hydrant side of the street. No damage estimate was given.
May 5 -- Parked car struck. Police said a Twinsburg man backed out of a parking space at Collica Cove and struck a Reminderville man's parked vehicle at 9 p.m. No damage estimate was given.
May 6 -- Hit-skip incident. Police said a driver came up behind three other cars on Shawnee Trail and struck the one directly in front, causing a chain reaction crash at 4 .m. The driver then fled the scene and could not be located. No damage estimate was given.
May 6 -- Lot crash. An Aurora woman reported another vehicle apparently struck her vehicle at 7 p.m. in a lot on South Aurora Road and left the scene. No damage estimate was given.
Property is turned in
May 4 -- ATM card found. A person turned in a bank card, which was found at an ATM. The owner was notified and picked it up.
May 7 -- Necklace found. A person found a necklace at Ballfield 8 and turned it into the police station. No value was given.
Miscellaneous cases
May 4 -- Window smashed. Police said a window on a door at the high school was shattered. School personnel were contacted to secure the building.
May 4 -- Dog on the loose. An Aurora woman was given a citation for having a dog at large after a Greentree Circle woman reported a dog was hanging around her home for about a month and bit her dog. Officers and animal control workers were trying to contain the animal when the owner drove up and was given the citation. The owner handed over documentation of the animal's veterinary record.
May 6 -- Domestic dispute. No charges were filed after police checked out a domestic dispute between a woman and her boyfriend in the Walden neighborhood. The man was advised to leave the property and not return that night.
