The church will have its third of four community dinners May 9, with an all-you-can-eat salad bar, spaghetti, meatballs, rolls, homemade pie and beverages.

CHURCH IN AURORA
The church will host a free seminar May 4 dealing with issues faced by aging adults. It will feature professionals from various geriatric fields. Refreshments will be served.
Some of the topics to be covered are home-based and residential care options, health and medication monitoring, end of life issues, social interaction strategies, common caregiver stresses and legal-financial-tax information.

Impact Weekend will be May 3 and 4. Included are bowling at Stow-Kent Lanes on May 3 at 12:30 p.m. for $7 and a potluck family dinner at 5 p.m.
The Praise Band will provide music and a special speaker is scheduled in the evening. Teens will be sent to host homes and will return the evening of May 4.
AWANA's closing ceremony will be May 7. The Praise Band will entertain.

The youth ministry will celebrate Mass with Matt Maher on May 4. Permission slips are necessary and can be found in the kiosk in the back of the church or the parish office.

A youth trip to Cedar Point is planned June 11.
In person registration for PSR in the fall will take place May 18 after each Mass. Vacation Bible school will run from June 16 to 20 from 9 a.m. to noon daily. The Diocese of Youngstown will sponsor two wedding anniversary celebrations June 22 at 2 p.m. at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown and Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Canton.
