Promise Keepers spring event PKAdventure, Grab Life by the Truth is coming to the Valley View Cinemark.
Actor Alan Autry, Dr. Del Tackett of the Truth Project and music by PK7 will be seen on the big screen starting April 12 at 8 a.m.
A service project will start immediately after. It may include light construction or other service tasks.
Early registration is $15 ($20 at the door). For details, call the First Baptist's office and ask for Pastor Drew.
Teen LifeSource for all students meets Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Men's basketball is Mondays at 7 p.m. for males 16 years and older.
OUR LADY CATHOLIC
Forms are located on the bulletin board in the back of the church for vacation Bible school June 16 to 20. Sessions will run from 9 a.m. to noon.
The spring retreat for high school students will be April 12-13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Centerville Mills Camp on Crackel Road.
Frank Runyeon will give a dramatic interpretation of the Sermon on the Mount on April 17 at 7 p.m. A free will offering will be accepted. Admission will not be charged.

PARKSIDE CHURCH
TrueLife Singles invites all singles 35 and older to a fellowship dinner May 2 at 7 p.m. at the church on Pettibone Road. Guest speaker is Pastor Jeff Mills.

LAKEVIEW CHAPEL
The message at the April 13 service will be "We Don't Want Your Money." Nursery and kids church will be available for infants to fifth-graders.
The church hosts a men's Bible study Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. at Starbucks, and activities for adults and children take place Wednesdays from 6:45 to 8 p.m.
HOPE LUTHERAN
Movie night will be April 11 from 6 to 9. A contribution of $5 per hour per child ages 2 to 10 is asked. Registration forms are in Linda Lawyer's box in the office or signups are possible by calling 330-562-8260.
Hope Nursery School will have an open house April 17 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and April 18 from 9 to 11 a.m.
Couples and links Bible study resumes tonight (April 9) at 7:30 at the Richners' home on Hanes Road. The next men's Bible study session is April 14 at 7:15 p.m. at Chuck Godale's home on East Pioneer Trail.
The women's Bible study will meet April 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Dolores Oberdorfer's home on Devorah Drive. The AA group meets Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. in the church.
KOL CHADASH
Jewish musician-educator Shimon Smith will lead a family education program April 17 at 6 p.m. at the congregation at 6545 SOM Center Road in Solon.
The program will explore various groups of Jews who have found freedom from persecution in Israel. It is in conjunction with the 60th anniversary of the founding of Israel.
The second part of the program will be April 18 at 6 p.m., when a Shabbat dinner will be followed by a service of Israel's music. Shimon will lead a Shabbat song session.
CHURCH IN AURORA

The work camp dinner-silent auction will be April 20 from 4 to 7 p.m. Women's Guild will meet today (April 9) at 11:30 a.m. in fellowship hall.
The 3H Evening Group will meet April 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Stephen Ministry Room to work on afghans and prayer shawls and share Chapters 15 and 16.
The sixth annual bake sale and raffle sponsored by the fifth- and sixth-grade classes will be April 13. Proceeds will go to Heifer International.

On April 13, Stephen Ministers from the Methodist Church in Macedonia will conduct the service, explaining what the program is and how it could benefit the local congregation.
United Methodist Men will have a breakfast meeting April 13 at 8 a.m., while the women will have their luncheon meeting April 13 at 11:45 a.m.

Sunday school children are collecting change for Heifer International until April 20. Junior youth ministry will meet April 16 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss "Be Kind to Others."
The FLY band will lead worship April 13 at 8:15 and 11 a.m. KidsPraise choir will bring the message April 27 through a musical titled "Livin' Inside Out in an Upside Down World."
A fundraiser for Alzheimer's programs will be May 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Wembley Club. Cost is $10 per person and $15 per couple. It is in honor of Jean Duffies.
