Dr. Haumann gets rose for his care

March 19, 2008

A rose courtesy of the Advocate and Aurora Florist Country Owl goes this week to Bounty Road resident Dr. Michael Haumann.

He was nominated by John Fellenstein.

"Dr. Haumann came to my house when my 8-year-old son cut his knee Feb. 24," wrote Fellenstein.

"He suggested my son get stitches, which we did. Last week, he came back to our house and gladly removed the stitches.

"I feel that because of great neighbors like Michael Haumann that the Highlands is the best neighborhood in Aurora!"

Persons who do good deeds for individuals, groups and the community as a whole are rewarded with roses.

Nominators should jot down a few sentences describing the kind act, and be sure to include their own names and the addresses of the recipients.

Roses are delivered only in Aurora, so the recipient must live or work here. Up to three people can be nominated and a rose will be delivered to each of them.

Anyone more than that will be considered a joint nomination and only one rose will be sent out.

Nominations can be sent to 1619 Commerce Drive, Stow 44224, e-mailed to klahmers@recordpub.com or faxed to 330-688-1588.
