PARKSIDE CHURCH
The church on Pettibone Road in Bainbridge Township will host a Walk Worthy conference for men Feb. 23, presented by Moody Bible Institute.
Guest speakers include evangelist and author Voddie Baucham, MBI President Michael Easley, Grammy-Dover award-winning artist Bruce Carroll, Chip Ingram, comedian John Branyan and Jim Traficant.
Doors open at 7:30 a.m. and the conference begins at 9 and concludes at 3:30 p.m. Cost is $40 per person, including lunch.

OUR LADY CATHOLIC
A Red Cross bloodmobile will be Feb. 20 from 1 to 7 p.m. Blood donors and volunteers to bake items are needed.
Musicians are needed for the newly formed brass choir. Specifically needed are trumpet, trombone, tuba and French horn players. If interested, call Barb Dzurilla at 330-562-7486.
Donations for flowers to be displayed during the Eastern season are being sought. A general donation of $10 is suggested for each remembrance of a loved one.
A First Eucharist meeting for parents of participants will be Feb. 28 at 7 p.m.
A youth ministry lock-in will be Feb. 17-18. A permission slip is required, along with a $5 fee to help cover food costs. An overnight retreat will be April 12-13.
The Knights of Columbus will host an estate planning night Feb. 25 at 7 in the parish center. All parish members are invited. Refreshments will be available after the meeting.

FIRST BAPTIST
The church is offering a small group study on Sunday at 6 p.m. titled "Effective Parenting in a Defective World."
It will help parents who struggle to properly raise children in a difficult culture It is led by Mike Benson and Associate Pastor Drew Carroll.
AWANA for children meets Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. A co-ed Bible study covering the Gospel of Luke runs at the same time, led by Bill Carr and Senior Pastor Keith Missel.
A youth pig-out will be Feb. 17 at a host home. LifeSource for youths meets Tuesday evenings.

LAKEVIEW CHAPEL
The message at the Feb. 17 worship service is titled "Loyalty Pays Off with a Husband -- Ruth." The four-week series examine characters and their qualities from the book of Ruth.
On Feb. 15, the church will host couples evening out. From 7 to 9 p.m., couples will play and/or watch "The Newlywed Game" and share desserts. Non-members of the church are welcome.
The church's youth will join hundreds of other teens for an evening with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Feb. 29, sponsored by Greater Cleveland Youth for Christ and Campus Life.
A men's Bible study meets Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. at Starbucks in Aurora. Activities for adults and children take place Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m.
UNITED METHODIST
Feb. 13 (tonight) will be the weekly Logos, with a potluck supper at 6 p.m. and program at 6:30. This week's program focuses on prayer. Transportation is available by calling 330-562-7866 from Tuesdays to Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
CHURCH IN AURORA
The 3H Evening group will meet Feb. 14. The missions committee will collect new underwear and socks Feb. 17 for the Haven of Rest Ministries.
The work campers' sub sandwich sale brought in $1,181. Aurora Farms Premium Outlets' Subway shop donated vegetables and discounted meat and cheese.
The outing to "On Golden Pond" at Aurora Community Theatre will be Feb. 16. The Women's Guild meets today (Feb. 13). World Day of Prayer for Aurora churches will be March 7 at the church.
