The Aurora One Fund, your local community fund, is still short $1,500 to make its goal. This year, your One Fund will celebrate 50 years of service to Aurora and unfortunately this may be the first time in its history that the goal may not be met.
Over the past two weeks, the fund gained only $150. To date, 376 pledge cards have been returned out of 11,600 mailed. There are about 90 contributors who donated to last year's drive that have not contributed to the current drive.
I am making one last appeal for contributions to make our goal. This is your Community Fund, I only administer the program. Contributions can be sent to Box 111, Aurora 44202.
