A memorial Mass was celebrated Sept. 18 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Aurora for Rudolph "Rudy" Linhart Jr., 86, who died Sept. 16 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.

Born June 18, 1923, in Dillonvale, he was the son of the late Rudolph Sr. and Mary (Carr) Linhart and lived in the Aurora area for the past 49 years.

He was the operator of Linhart Sohio in Bedford Heights and then Sohio and Falcon gasoline stations in Twinsburg.

He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and was an active member of the Ravenna Field Trail Club.

Survivors include his wife Helen F. (Kendzor) Linhart, whom he married June 30, 1951; brother Robert Linhart of Garfield Heights; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Linhart has been cremated. Arrangements were handled by Green Family Funeral Home in Mantua.

FLORENCE V. BUSS

Hope Lutheran member

Services were Sept. 22 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home in Streetsboro for Florence V. Buss, 92, of Aurora, who died Sept. 19 at Kensington Care Center.

Born Feb. 22, 1917, in Mount Pleasant, Pa., to the late Frank and Helen (Milewski Lewandowski, she had lived in the Streetsboro/Aurora area for the past 14 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Aurora.

Survivors include her son David (Debra) Buss of Streetsboro; daughters Beverly (Gerard) Nyland of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Kathy Starner of Johnson City, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and sister Valeria Hardesty of Westerville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Buss on Sept. 3, 2004, and brothers Frank and Edward Lewandowski.

The Rev. Dennis Mann officiated at the funeral. Committal services followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro.
