World War II veteran
Services were Aug. 16 at Lakeview Cemetery mausoleum for Aurora resident Yale A. Arfa, who died recently.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War, serving with the engineer corps.
Survivors include his wife Joan (Blumenthal) of Aurora; daughters Marcy (John) McSkimming of Ellicott City, Md., and Sheryl (Dave) Puette of Aurora; five grandchildren; brother Jerome Arfa; sister Rosalind August; and several nieces and nephews.
Contributions can be made to the Montefiore Home or the Alzheimer's Association.
