Aurora -- It appears there will be few changes in Greenmen varsity coaching ranks -- at least as far as head coaches go -- for the 2009-10 school year.

On June 29, the Board of Education awarded a number of supplemental contracts for coaching, and all of last year's head coaches will return.

The list of head coaches coming back is as follows:

Bob Mihalik, football; Chris Flynn, girls golf; Gus Mehallis, boys golf; Jason Bibza, girls soccer; Chris Gentille, boys soccer; Jenna Schadle, volleyball; Katie Searles, cross country; Dania Banc, girls tennis; Brian Force, boys basketball.

Erika Schultz, girls basketball; Dick Bliss, wrestling; Katie Monroe, swimming; John Sheridan, hockey; Jaclyn Spirtos, softball; John Kudley, girls track; Mark Dingman, boys track; and George Snider, baseball.

Kudley was awarded supplemental contracts as site and ticket manager, Connie Wells as varsity cheerleading adviser, Rebecca Nedelka as JV cheerleading adviser and Diane Kohn as Harmon cheerleading adviser.

Awarded contracts as assistant sports coaches were:

Football -- John Calcei, Nick Kukarola, Victor Ricketts, Brian Wervey, Dingman, Tim Deering, Joe Kovitch, Dominic Schwed, Tim Moran, Ben Hill and Brian Nichols.

Boys golf -- Snider; girls golf -- Noah Goodman; boys soccer -- Oscar Sarmiento and George Kimson; volleyball -- Stephanie Duncan, Erika Schultz and Mary Lynn Griff.

Girls soccer -- Jennifer Simmerman and Jennifer Kurtz; cross country -- Laura Bell and Tracy England; wrestling -- Mike DeMay and Paul Frankmann.

Boys basketball -- Kovitch, Tim Weber and Tim Baczkowski; girls basketball -- Toni Longar, John Farrell and Jennifer Kurtz; girls track -- England and Jessica Hayes.
