Three hundred sixty-five runners competed in the annual July 4 5K event in Aurora, while 114 competed in the 1-miler.

Chris Dennison, an Aurora High School graduate and Miami University distance runner, was the overall winner of both races, finishing the 1-mile in 4:36 and the 5K in 15:35.

Following Dennison, the top 50 overall finishers in the 5K were as follows:
