The following items are reprinted from the Harmon Highlights newsletter. Harmon School's team placed three writers in the top 15 at the Power of the Pen regional tournament in Hudson. More than 100 students from 15 schools participated. Katie Clark took first place in the eighth-grade event. She also won a best of round award. Kara Yogan took 10th place and Liz Vitlin finished 13th. The fourth member of the Harmon team was Olivia Coady. The four girls will represent Harmon at the state finals May 23 at the College of Wooster. A grandparents tea is planned for May 6 at 9:30 a.m. Students in grades 6 to 8 may invited a grandparent or anyone they wish to adopt as a grandparent for a day. Refreshments will be provided by the PTO. Entertainment is planned, along with a tour of the school. Reservation forms are due in the main office by May 1. Comments
