JUNE HICKS REAVIS
Mother of local resident
A memorial graveside service took place April 19 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Roanoke, Va., for June Hicks Reavis, 75, of Roanoke, who died April 15.
Born in Vinton, she was preceded in death by parents, Rumsey and Vernie Hicks.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Bill Davis of Aurora; sons Greg (Stephanie) and Chris Reavis; four grandchildren; and sisters Ruth (Robert) Bandy, Catherine (Gene) Calvert and Hazel Camden.
Arrangements were handled by Oakey's North Chapel.

Mass of Christian burial was celebrated April 22 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Chagrin Falls for Anthony L. Gruzd, 87, who died April 19.
A former resident of South Russell, he is survived by daughters Barbara Gruzd and Margaret (Kenneth) Snyder; three grandchildren; and nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by sisters Sophie Dewald and Julia Wisnieski.
Interment was in Crown Hill Cemetery. Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home handled arrangements. Donations can be made to the American Lung Associatiion of Northern Ohio, 1621 Euclid Ave., Suite 930, Cleveland 44115.
