Financial Network one of 'most dependable' Financial Network of America LTD of Twinsburg appears in Forbes Magazine's April edition as one of 10 most dependable wealth managers in the Great Lakes region. Michael A. Embrescia of Aurora and Joseph C. Randazzo of Hudson agree that it is a major honor to be listed as one of the 10 most dependable wealth management firms and the only one in Ohio. FNA was selected by nationally known Goldline Research which uses a rigorous proprietary research process, including client references. FNA is a 35-year-old family-owned business that provides innovative financial and estate planing strategies for individuals and businesses, and offers 457 plans to city and county employees. FNA has offices in Twinsburg, Cleveland, Col-umbus, Independence and Youngstown. Maurices to give $500 to voted charity group Maurices is celebrating the anniversary of its store in Marketplace at Four Corners by donating $500 to an area non-profit organization. Customers are invited to stop in at the store and nominate a favorite local charity through May 4. Nominations will be tallied and the charity with the most customer votes will be awarded the donation. "It's a wonderful experience to be a part of this community and we're excited about the coming year," said store manager Kristy Wilkinson. "What's exciting about this donation is that our customers determine the charity. It's another way for us to support an organization that is important to our customers." Bertram Inn will host a seminar on arthritis Arthritis costs the U.S. economy an estimated $128 billion annually in lost wages, productivity and medical costs. In response to the staggering statistics, the Arthritis Foundation's Northeast Ohio Chapter and Wachovia Securities will offer a free educational forum "Rx for Health and Wealth: Take Control of Arthritis and Your Finances" May 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bertram Inn in Aurora. The seminar features presentations by orthopedic surgeon Dr. Patrick Hergenroeder and rheumatoligst Dr. Johnny Su. Securities financial adviser John Blaha and James E. Johnson will talk about estate planning and retirement income planing. Space is limited and a catered lunch will be provided. School owned by local residents given honors The Goddard School on Glenwood Drive in Twinsburg received special internal recognition at the company's annual convention April 9 to 12 at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort and Spa in Palm Springs, Calif. School owners Jim and Randy Lindley of Aurora received several awards, including the Bullseye and Occupancy. The Goddard School, a national chain based in Pennsylvania, offers a year-round program for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. Children are encouraged to develop at their own pace. Hanna's total volume $1.47 billion in March Howard Hanna Real Estate Services reports total volume of $1.47 billion for March 2008. Figures include written, listing and closed sales volume. Volume for Howard Hanna Smythe Cramer totaled $539.4 million. Closed volume was $145.9 million (792 units), written volume was $163.9 million (888 units) and listing volume was $229.5 million (959 units). Total volume for the Eastern Region of Howard Hanna Smythe Cramer, which includes the Aurora office, was $239 million (1,011 units).
