OUR LADY CATHOLIC

A confirmation retreat will be April 5 at 11 a.m. Practice with sponsors will be at 4.

A spring retreat for high school youths will be April 12-13 at Centerville Mills Park on Crackel Road. A permission slip is required by March 31 and the cost is $35.

The Knights of Columbus unit's pancake breakfast will be April 6 after the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Masses.

A director is needed to lead youths in performances of "Godspell Junior." Sue Rose will handle the music. If interested, contact Karen Yash.

Other coming events are: March 27 -- small faith community at 9:45 a.m., Spirited Seniors at noon and choir practice at 7:30 a.m.

March 30 -- religious education for grades 6 to 8 and RCIA session at 9:45 a.m., religious education for preschool and grades K-1, co-op nursery and children's liturgy of the word at 10:30 a.m., and family faith sharing at 11:30 a.m.

FIRST BAPTIST

Monday nights are reserved for men's basketball from 7 to 9 for ages 16 and older. My First School preschool enrollment is open for 2008-09. If interested, call 330-562-8070.

An all-adult Sunday school fellowship time, which was canceled because of a snowstorm March 9, will be March 30 at 9:15 a.m. A hot breakfast will be served by the men's ministry.

HOPE LUTHERAN

Hope Nursery School will have an open house April 17 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and April 18 from 9 to 11 a.m. Movie night will be April 11 from 6 to 9. A contribution of $5 per hour per child is asked.

The couples Bible study will resume sessions April 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Richners'' home on Hanes Road. For details, call 330-562-6841.

Traditional worship is Sundays at 8:15 a.m., with adult Bible class at 9:15, contemporary worship and children's Sunday school at 10:15. A service also is Fridays at 10:30 a.m. at Independence Village.

LAKEVIEW CHAPEL

Worship starts Sundays at 10:45 a.m. Classes for ages 3 to adult begin at 9:30. A nursery and kids church are available during worship for infants to fifth-graders.

Activities for children take place Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m. and activities for adults are at 7. A Bible study for men is Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. at Starbucks.

UNITED METHODIST

The men's group will offer its third annual spaghetti dinner March 29 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $7.50 for senior citizens, $8 for adults and $4.50 for those ages 4 to 10.
