Daughter lives in town

Services were March 15 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Twinsburg for Helen (Munko) Thompson, 91, of Twinsburg, who died March 11 at Kensington Care Center in Aurora.

Formerly a resident of Garrettsvile and Pennsylvania, she was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church and was an active member of its Bible study group.

She retired from the Sharon, Pa. Herald newspaper, where she worked in the circulation department for 18 years. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and made many of her children's clothing.

Survivors include her daughters Audriene (William) Ockington of Aurora ad Betty Joyce (Daniel) Bertolasio of Palmetto, Fla.,; son Robert Elliott (Anne) Thompson of Eustis, Fla.; daughter-in-law Maryanne (Robert) Nowak; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Lloyd E. Thompson and son Harry "Sam" Thompson.

Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Hermitage, Pa. Johnson-Romito Funeral Home in Twinsburg handled arrangements.

HELEN A. KILLORAN
Was inspector for firm

Services were March 14 at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home in Twinsburg for Helen A. (Yow) Killoran, 92, who died March 10 in her Aurora home.

She had worked as an inspector for Precision Metalsmith, and was the wife of the late James Killoran.
Survivors include daughters Lynn Walsh of Aurora and Barbara Lene of Akron; son Donald Ecolano of Cordova, Alaska; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were her parents John Yow and Elizar (Langley) Yow, son Joseph Ecolano, five brothers and six sisters.

The Rev. Richard Seawright officiated at the funeral. Interment was in Aurora Cemetery.
