MAMIE H. SMOLCIC Auroran since 1964 Services were Feb. 6 at Kindrich-McHugh-Steinbauer Funeral Home in Solon for Mamie H. Smolcic, 69, of Aurora, who died Feb. 2. Born in Canonsburg, Pa., on May 15, 1938 to Peter Lukich and Mamie Alberta Frye Lukich, she graduated from Canonsburg schools. In 1964, she married Joseph and has resided in Aurora since then. She was a member of New Life Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed activities at Twinsburg Senior Center and walking. Interment was in Aurora Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society. KATHLEEN E. LEE Lived to be 98 years old A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Feb. 9 at Ss. Cosmas and Damian Church in Twinsburg for Kathleen Elizabeth (Kiernan) Lee, 98, of Reminderville, who died Feb. 3. Survivors include her daughter Maureen (Alan) Griffith of Reminderville; son Michael Joseph (Maureen) Lee of Tomsriver, N.J.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael, one grandchild and siblings Edna Noonan, Thomas, John, Peter and Patrick Kiernan. Memorial contributions can be made to Ss. Cosmas and Damian Church's memorial fund, 10419 Ravenna Road, Twinsburg 44087. Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Johnson-Romito Funeral Home in Twinsburg. MARTY KATHRYN ROTH Lived mostly in Aurora Private services took place for Mary Kathryn Roth, 78, who died Jan. 28 after suffering with Alzheimer's Disease for several years. Born in Oakland, Md. on Nov. 30, 1929, she lived most of her life in Aurora, where she and her husband Roland (Sam) Roth reared their three children. She enjoyed music, golf and traveling. Survivors include her daughter Janice (Mark) Golik of Santa Rosa, Calif.; son Jeffrey (Tracy) Roth of Westerville; four grandsons; sisters Jean and Linda; brothers Dale and David; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, son James, sister Elinor and granddaughter Erica. Donations can may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to a favorite charity. LIDA M. RICE Enjoyed preparing meals Services were to be Feb. 13 at New Life Assembly of God in Aurora for Lida M. (Hall) Rice, 89, of Aurora, who died Feb. 8. Born Sept. 14, 1918 to Mark E. Hall and Ethel W. (Little) in Auburn, she married her school days sweetheart Edgar, who preceded her in death in 1978. She enjoyed offering her time in the kitchen at New Life Assembly and enjoyed gardening. Survivors include her grandchildren Edgar T. Stewart, David Lee (Debbie) Stewart and Karl F. (Tammy) Stewart; and 11 great-grandchildren. Her daughter Nancy Bozic also preceded her in death. Interment was to be in Aurora Cemetery. Kindrich-McHugh-Steinbauer Funeral Home in Solon handled arrangements. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of New Life Assembly. Comments
