The Portage County Association of Realtors celebrated its 22nd annual inaugural dinner and awards Jan. 26 at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown.

Several Aurora realtors were honored, including Phil Chalmers of Remax Traditions, who earned the platinum level professional of the year award for $7.5 million in net sales or 100 net sales units between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31.

Tim Miller received the realtor of the year award, while Stephen Boyles was presented with the president's award and Ronda Klar was given the affiliate of the year award.

Gold level professionals of the year ($5 million net or 75 net sales units) were Susan Tinlin of Remax Traditions, Andy VonStein of Cutler Real Estate and Susan White of Howard Hanna Smythe Cramer.

Silver level professionals of the year ($2.5 million net or 50 net sales units) were Doris Brown of Cutler Real Estate; Sharon Gloor, Kathleen Novak and Kay VandenBoom, all of Howard Hanna Smythe Cramer; Mark Grable, Cindy Le-Mon and Sandie Filipczak, all of Stouffer Realty.

Bronze level professionals of the year ($1 million net or 25 net sales units) were Edith Alexander of Realty One Real Living; Sandy Allen and Suzy Jameson of Century 21 Prestige Realty Group; Susan M. Blazek and Philip March of Ohio Realty Group; Dave Bissler of Stouffer Realty.

Also, Lori DiCesare, Donna Hawkins, Meg Hudson, Catherine Kroft-Taylor, Joe Leslie, Barbara Statham, Mary Strimple and Jeanette Wade of Howard Hanna Smythe Cramer; Carol Foote and Tessa Samblanet of Cutler Real Estate; and Nancy Gatts-Niland, Kathleen Jaczo, Pam Jeanneret, Deborah Kruis, Elsie Sayre and Kit Semplak of Coldwell Banker Hunter.

Rookie of the year award recipients (licensed less than two years with $400,000 or more net dollar amount or 10 net sales units) were Carol Foote of Cutler Real Estate; and Douglas Brainard, Pam Hilverding and Jeanette Wade of Howard Hanna Smythe Cramer.

Installed as officers for the new year were Stephen Boyles of Century 21 Prestige Realty Group, president; Dave Bissler of Stouffer Realty, president-elect, and Susan M. Blazek of Ohio Realty Group, treasurer.
