Police Reports is a sampling of incidents responded to by the Aurora Police Department. It is not intended to be all-inclusive.

Trespassing: An Orchard Avenue woman reported April 17 at about 8 p.m. that her estranged husband was trespassing at her home. Police told the woman they would contact the man and advise him not to trespass.

Soliciting: A Columbus man and a Springfield man were cited April 18 for soliciting without a permit. The Columbus man also was cited for driving under suspension and his driver's license was confiscated.

Domestic violence: An Aurora man was charged with domestic violence April 14 at 10:20 a.m. after police said he pushed his mother onto the floor at Barrington Place West. No injuries were reported. He was taken to the Portage County Jail.

Appliances taken: A Barrington Place East employee reported April 13 that an evicted tenant took appliances that belonged to the complex owner valued at $954. Management said the tenant was to replace the items or pay for them, but he would not respond to management's phone calls. Police were investigating.

Fraud: An Aurora Industrial Parkway business reported April 14 having received fraudulent online orders in the amount of about $100,000. The situation was discovered after a shipment worth $412 was made. The other orders were canceled.

Warrant arrest: Police stopped a Hudson man April 16 at 12:05 a.m. on Aurora-Hudson Road for an equipment violation and having no license plates, and discovered he and a female passenger were wanted on warrants from Streetsboro police. Both were transferred to Streetsboro police custody.

Missing jewelry: An Aurora man and woman reported April 13 that some of their jewelry was missing during a move. Estimated value was $2,000.

Possible theft: An Aurora couple reported April 14 the possible theft of a diamond. Police said the couple believes it was switched out by a jeweler. The couple was to have the ring looked at to determine if a theft did indeed occur, in which case a police report was to be filed. No value of the diamond was given.

Gun turned in: An airsoft gun was turned in by a Dogwood Trail parent, who took it from the couple's son.

DUI citation: An Aurora woman was cited for driving under the influence April 15 at 12:43 a.m. after police said she was observed swerving over double-yellow and white fog lines on South Chillicothe Road. Police said she had court-granted limited driving privileges. She was released on bond.
