Starting Monday (April 10), Frost Road between Ellsworth Road and Philipp Parkway and at the intersection of Frost Road and Route 43 in Streetsboro will have occasional lane restrictions for roadway widening, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Additionally, Interstate 480 under Frost Road in Streetsboro will have nightly lane restrictions between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. for roadway construction, ODOT said. The restrictions continue through Friday morning.
The work is part of a $5.5 million project to widen Frost Road between Sunny Lane and Route 43 and between Ellsworth Road and Philipp Parkway. Included in the project is the widening of the Frost Road bridge over I-480, all of which is expected to be complete by late September 2018.
Route 303 between Stanley and Bryant roads in Windham Township also will be closed between April 17 and April 21 for a culvert replacement. The detour route is Route 88 to Route 82 to Route 303, according to ODOT.
Work also continues, until further notice, on minor repairs to the bridge over Plum Creek on Route 261 just east of Mogadore Road in Kent. The $1.8 million project is expected to be complete by late September, according to ODOT.
