One Portage countywide issue will be on November ballot

In addition to voting for president and other individual offices, voters in Portage County will see a total of 28 issues on the fall ballot.
There is only one countywide issue. No. 29 is a 0.3-mill replacement levy for 10 years for the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Portage County.
School districts from Aurora to Waterloo have 11 issues for voters to consider; townships have seven issues; villages have six; and cities have two.
The Aurora school district is seeking approval of Issue 16, a 7.33-mill, five-year renewal levy for current expenses.
The city of Aurora
has Issue 1, a 1.5-mill, five-year renewal levy for ambulance / emergency medical services.
