Clevelander charged in alleged fondling incident at Wildewater Kingdom

A Cleveland man is facing multiple felony charges in Portage County Common Pleas Court after allegedly fondling an adolescent boy inside a restroom at Wildwater Kingdom in Aurora earlier this month.

Jaime J. Aguilar, 45, faces a charge of kidnapping with a sexual motivation, a first-degree felony; two counts of tampering with evidence; and one count each of gross sexual imposition, importuning and abduction, all third-degree felonies, after being indicted Aug. 11 by a Portage County grand jury.

Aguilar was set to be arraigned Aug. 19 in Judge Laurie Pittman's courtroom, according to court records. He was being held in the Portage County Jail on $150,000 cash bond, records show.

According to Aurora police, Aguilar allegedly touched a 12-year-old boy's genitals on Aug. 7 in a public restroom at the park.
