Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016, is the 15th anniversary of the devastating attacks on our country in 2001. The Aurora Advocate plans an observance of the tragedy in our paper in our Sept. 14 edition, and we invite readers to share their memories with us.
Many of us will never forget where we were when we heard about the attacks on that terrible Tuesday, and how we felt. We would like to include some of your memories in our Sept. 14, 2016 paper.
By Wednesday, Aug. 31, please feel free to send us your thoughts or memories of September 11, 2001. We will include as many readers’ responses as possible. Please limit your thoughts to no more than 50 words. Responses may be edited.
You can email your thoughts to firstname.lastname@example.org, share them via Twitter at @AuroraAdvocate, or post them on our Facebook page.
Please include your name, municipality of residence and phone number for verification purposes. Your phone number will not be published.
