Fireworks will follow a July 11 performance of the Cleveland Pops Orchestra at Perici Amphitheater in Twinsburg’s Glen Chamberlin Park.
Doors will open for the concert at 6 p.m., with the show starting at 7. Unlkike the other 21-and-older Rock the Park concerts, the orchestra performance and fireworks are open to all ages.
Tickets are $5 for children’s lawn seating, $10 for adult lawn seating and $30 for VIP patio access. Tickets can be purchased at www.rocktheparkconcert.com.
Cleveland Pops Orchestra Executive Director Shirley Morgenstern said the July 11 performance will include a variety of patriotic tunes, some show tunes and Frank Sinatra hits.
Normally performing in Severance Hall and Playhouse Square in Cleveland, the members of the orchestra find Twinsburg’s Perici Amphitheater to be an exciting change of pace, according to Morgenstern.
As a family event, the concert will include children’s crafting activities, kid-friendly refreshments such as popcorn and ice cream, a balloon artist and an opening performance by area illusionist and magician David Anthony.
