The theme of the 39th Twins Days will be “Twinstock – Groovy in Twinsburg,” celebrating the late 1960’s and early 1970’s with costumes, props and any other Double Take Parade float that represents peace, love and likeness.
The festival will be Aug. 2-3 at Glen Chamberlin Park, with the parade stepping off Aug. 2 at 9 a.m. at Twinsburg Township Square.
Past years have featured twins from as far away as Japan and Australia. The festival is open to all multiples — identical, fraternal, young and old, twins, triplets, quads — and their families. Non-twins are also welcome.
Aug. 2 kicks off with the Double Take Parade, a route of themed, decorated floats carrying the twin stars of the festival.
Activities during the day include twins contests, a talent show, twins research are, twins group photo, entertainment; arts and crafts, twins related/sponsored booths, amusement rides and games and a fireworks show.
Also available are food and souvenirs.
Sunday activities include the Twins Days 5K benefitting the Melanoma Education Initiative, and a pancake breakfast.
Twins are encouraged to register at the festival to participate in the twins-related activities. count. Last year 2,000 sets of twins attended the festival.

Admission to the grounds for the public, is $4 per person per day (children 5 and younger enter for free).
