The National Park Service (NPS) has completed trail work and has reopened 1.4 miles of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park from Hunt House in Cuyahoga Falls to Ira Road in Cuyahoga Falls. NPS staff will continue to make repairs on the remaining closed 2 miles miles of the Towpath Trail from Ira Road in Cuyahoga Falls to Botzum Trailhead in Akron.
Trail assessments throughout the park continue and additional closures are also in effect. These closures include:
· Wetmore Trail
· Perkins Trail
· Lake Trail, including the Kendall Lake Parking Lot on Truxell Road
· Valley Trail, south of SR 303
· Langes Run Trail, south of Wetmore Road
· Hunt House and associated events

If visiting the park, expect downed trees, mud, and standing water. Please respect all park closures for the safety of visitors, resource, and park staff. Please do not drive or walk through moving water or designated closed areas.
