Minrovic to retire; Aurora hires new principal

Published:

Aurora — Longtime elementary school principal Patty Minrovic will retire at the end of the 2014-15 school year, and the Board of Education on May 19 hired an administrator to take her place.
Minrovic has been with the school district for 18 years, and will retire after having been Craddock and Miller principal for 19 years. Her current salary is $101,319 per year.
Julie Ann Troman will be her successor. She will be the principal at Craddock in 2014-15 and Minrovic will be principal at just Miller while also doing other assignments at Craddock and Leighton.
When Minrovic retires, Troman will assume principal duties at Miller and Craddock. District officials said the transition will help the district maintain continuity in both curriculum and other programs.
