Streetsboro police are investigating the cause of a three-car traffic crash that took place Friday morning in front of the Home Depot in the 9500 block of Route 14, injuring three drivers.

According to Streetsboro police Lt. Darin Powers, officers and firefighters responded to the crash in front of Home Depot at 9585 Route 14 at 6:17 a.m.

A maroon 2003 Toyota Camry driven by Bruce Max, 22, of Kent was travelling southeast on Route 14 when it crossed over into the northwestbound lanes and struck two vehicles heading in that direction.

Those vehicles were a white 2007 Chrysler Aspen driven by Erica Lincoln, 29, of Streetsboro, and a gold 2003 Ford Taurus driven by Jessica Long, 33, of Streetsboro. Long and Lincoln were both transported to the Cleveland Clinic in Twinsburg and Max was transported to Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, according to Powers. He said their injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The crash is still under investigation and no charges have been filed yet. Traffic on Route 14 was backed up beyond Route 43 for about an hour until the crash was cleared from the roadway, according to Powers.
