Lincolns visit Aurora

President Abraham Lincoln and his wife, Mary Todd, visited Aurora on Feb. 23 to speak at the gala opening of the “Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War” exhibit in the historical society museum. They were portrayed by re-enactors John W. King and Marian King. The exhibit will be set up until April 5 and is courtesy of the American Library Association and National Endowment for the Humanities.
