A bloodmobile sponsored by Harmon School's student council will take place Friday (Feb. 8) from 3 to 8 p.m. The American Red Cross' Pint Size Hero program introduces students to the importance of donating blood. It encourages students to invite adults to give blood on their behalf.
To donate blood, persons must be at least 17 years old, meet weight and height requirements, be in general good health and provide a valid photo ID upon donation. Appointments can be scheduled in advance at www.redcrossblood.org by searching the blood drive by ZIP code or entering the sponsor code: HARMON.
