The director of public service for the city of Aurora has announced that an emergency snow parking ban will be in effect through 9 a.m. Monday (Feb. 4).
During this parking ban, no person may park, abandon or leave unattended any motor vehicle of any kind on any city street or road.
Any vehicle found parked in violation of this emergency parking ban may be towed to a place designated by the director of public service.
As of noon Friday (Feb. 1), roads were reported to be snow covered in Aurora. Down Route 43 in Kent, no snow had fallen since Thursday evening (Jan. 31).
