The city of Aurora and neighboring communities have been inundated with a large number of thefts from unlocked vehicles — plus vehicles taken after keys were left inside — at homes and apartments, according to Aurora Police Lt. Rob Hagquist.
"These crimes have been occurring during the early morning hours and we advise vehicle owners to keep their cars and homes secure," he said. "This rash of thefts are currently under investigation, and if anyone has information about the persons involved, contact the Aurora Police Department at 330-562-8181, or your local law enforcement jurisdiction."
