ETC hosts camps

ETC Heid's School of Musical Arts is looking for boys and girls from fourth to sixth grade for its grade school group "The New Generation."

ETC will have a camp Aug. 11 through 15 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at its studio at 1932 Akron-Peninsula Road. The camp will consist of singing and dancing in the morning, then various activities in the afternoon, including swimming, bowling and site seeing. Call 330-923-2000 for more information.

The all girls show choir "Rouge" will begin its second season with ETC beginning Aug. 12 through 14 from 1 to 8 p.m. with a show choir workshop. Contact Carolyn Bagley at carolynmbagley@gmail.com to set up an audition and for more information.

For the month of August, Gallery 732 will welcome Carolyn Hogan, a versatile artist who uses all mediums: oil, water color, acrylic, charcoal, and others. This show will be varied in content: impressionism, realism,portraits, florals, seascapes, and animals. Gallery 732 is inside the Akron Woman's City Club, 732 W. Exchange St., and is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
