Stow glass artist featured in
Akron Glass Works hosts free glassblowing demonstrations every first and third Saturday of the month from 6 to 10 p.m.
Stow artist Russ O'Brien will be in the hot shop March 16. Viewers can also enter a drawing to win an original glass piece.

Camera Club's works at CVAC
The Camera Club Show will be at Cuyahoga Valley Art Center from March 4 through 20.
Also during this time, David Everson will be the featured artist in the CVAC Artist Caf with his exhibit, "Sails and Seas Acrylics."
CVAC hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Youth theater stages 'Charlotte's Web'
Solon Center for the Arts Spotlight Youth Theater will perform "Charlotte's Web," adapted by Joseph Robinette based on the book by E.B. White, on March 7 at 7 p.m., March 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m., and March 10 at 2 p.m.
"Charlotte's Web" is the story of Wilbur, a runt pig, who is adopted by a young girl named Fern. As Fern is helping Wilbur to grow big and strong, they learn of Wilbur's ultimate fate at the butcher. Charlotte the talented spider, with the help of Wilbur's loving barnyard friends, weaves a creative solution by spinning the words "Some Pig" in her web. Charlotte's words not only save Wilbur but make him a prized pig thus ensuring his place on the farm forever. This treasured tale is a wonderful story for the entire family that explores bravery, selfless love, and the true meaning of friendship.

'To Grandmother's House' March 1-16
The Independence Community Theatre will stage "To Grandmother's House We Go" March 1 through 16.
Grandie lives in a large Victorian house with her brother, a retired art historian; her elderly maid/companion; and her widowed daughter, an artist. Inflation has taken its toll on their wealth, but Grandie's exacting standards remain unaltered. It is Thanksgiving and the three grandchildren come for a visit. All are facing major changes in their personal lives and all have requests to ask of the matriarch.

Theater ghosts part of preshow talk
Great Lakes Theater will present an extraordinary pre-show discussion and performance event exploring the paranormal and the haunted history of the Hanna Theatre (and PlayhouseSquare's other theaters), in conjunction with the company's production of Nol Coward's "Blithe Spirit," at the Hanna Theatre, PlayhouseSquare on March 2.
Commencing at 6:15 p.m. with a pre-show discussion featuring nationally renowned paranormal expert Mary Ann Winkowski, the event will culminate with a performance of Great Lakes Theater's main stage production of "Blithe Spirit" at 7:30 p.m. as part of GLT's Classics and Conversations audience engagement series.
