Free or reduced price

meals policy available

The Aurora schools have announced the 2016-17 policy for free and reduced price meals for students unable to pay the full price of meals served under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast, After School Care Snack or Special Milk Program.

Each school office and the central office have copies of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party. Application forms are being distributed to all homes in a letter to parents / guardians.

To apply for free and reduced-price benefits, households should fill out an application and return it to the school the student attends. A complete application is required. If any information is missing, the school cannot process the application.

Photo makeups slated

Makeup days for seniors who did not get their yearbook photos taken July 11-15 by Ripcho Studios are scheduled for Aug. 8-9.

Seniors are under no obligation to purchase a picture package from Ripcho. However, the only way for a student to appear in the yearbook is to have their picture taken by Ripcho Studios.

For a free "yearbook only" picture sitting, parents should call Ripcho Studios at 216-631-0664 and ask for "the free yearbook only sitting."

Seniors can pick the image they prefer for the yearbook.
