Elementary yearbooks still available; Market Day sale June 4

The following items are reprinted from the News from Miller and Craddock Schools and Leighton Letter newsletters.

Miller and Craddock yearbooks have arrived, and a few are still available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents wanting a yearbook should send $11 to the school with their child. Checks should be made payable to Craddock or Miller, not Ripcho Studios.

The May Market Day orders enabled the PTO to raise $670. The next Market Day sale is June 4, and a summer truck sale will be July 23.

The PTO earned more than $3,100 from the Heinen's ABC program this school year. Also, the Giant Eagle Apples for Students program was a huge success. The schools earned free playground balls, basketballs and sidewalk chalk for Miller, Craddock and Leighton.

Parents of next year's first-graders are reminded of the orientation meeting May 22 at 6:30 p.m. in Craddock's gym. School officials will review the first-grade curriculum, routines and expectations.
